(IMSIU) Al Imam Mohamed Ibn Saud Islamic University

Al Imam Mohamed Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), was established in 1950 and was granted university status by royal decree in 1974. The University has been constantly expanding since, hosting today 10 faculties and more than 24,000 students as well as 1,300 faculty members.

As part of the university’s 5-year assessment expansion plan an extension has been made adding 6 more faculty buildings that add up to a total built-up area of 242,000m2.

EMDAD’s scope of work consisted of design and site supervision including architecture, structure, MEP and electromechanical networks such as potable water, fire-fighting, water waste-water, electrical and communication networks, infrastructure, roads and landscape.
