Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Medical City


The medical city is considered one of the largest referential healthcare facilities in Saudi Arabia with a plot area of about 2,000,000m2 aiming at providing all medical requirements of the Northern area as part of the Saudi Arabia’s vision for 2030. The medical city encompasses a specialized hospital comprising 13 floors with a capacity of 1,000 beds, an optic center, heart center, neurological center and an oncology center.

EMDAD’s scope of work included providing design review, shop drawings and site supervision services covering all disciplines, healthcare architecture, structure, MEP and electromechanical networks such as potable water networks, fire-fighting, water and waste-water, electrical and communication networks and medical gases network.

Zuhair Fayez and associates provided architectural and engineering design while Al Fouzan for Trading and General Contracting (FTCO) was the main contractor.
